This online course introduces the key principles of volunteer management and shares good practice. You’ll learn how to apply these principles to your organisation.

Recruiting volunteers
The course is aimed at volunteer managers. It will:
- help you develop a marketing approach to recruit volunteers
- explore how to use compelling copy in volunteer role descriptions and promotional resources
- share top tips for advertising and promoting volunteer opportunities
- help you develop an action plan for improving recruitment in your volunteering programmes.
Last course date for 2023:
We’re extending this course to a full day in 2024 based on attendee feedback.
This will give more opportunities to focus on platforms and spaces to advertise volunteering opportunities. There will also be more time in the session to develop an action plan for your organisation.
