NCVO confirms Jude Sheeran as chair at 2026 AGM. Three new trustees, Su-Mei Thompson, Red Godfrey-Sagoo and Louise Kerrigan were also appointed.
Su-Mei is Chief Executive of Media Trust, a role she has held since 2017. She has dedicated her career to advancing equality and amplifying under-represented voices, having moved into the charity sector 20 years ago following legal counsel and senior management roles at Disney and the Financial Times. Before joining Media Trust, she was Chief Executive of The Women's Foundation in Hong Kong.
Red served as an NCVO trustee from 2021 to 2024, and we're delighted she is rejoining our board.
Red is an experienced non-profit leader with 20 years' experience across UK, US and international charities. She is currently Chief Executive of Rape Crisis South London. Her previous roles span humanitarian response, anti-trafficking, women's rights and international development.
Louise is an experienced people, culture and organisational development leader, with a career spanning the charity, public services, education, hospitality and professional sport sectors.
Most recently, Louise was Chief People and Culture Officer at PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide, where she led a broad portfolio covering people, culture, safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, organisational development, data and volunteering.
As announced earlier this year, Jude Sheeran has taken on the role of NCVO chair, confirmed at our AGM this week.
Jude brings extensive commercial and voluntary sector leadership experience spanning technology, digital transformation, governance and organisational growth. His broad experience includes serving as a small charity trustee, as CEO of not-for-profit IT provider EduServ, and as Chief Operating Officer at Shaw Trust.
As we welcome our new trustees, we thank our outgoing Chair, Dr Priya Singh, and trustees Dr Sarabajaya Kumar and Emily Agius for their dedication and service.
We're grateful for their commitment to NCVO and all they have enabled us to accomplish. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
