Baroness Delyth Morgan was confirmed as NCVO's new president. Two new trustees, Ruth Marvel and Louise Posocco, were also appointed.
At the AGM, we confirmed the appointment of Baroness Delyth Morgan as our new president.
Her role marks an exciting new chapter as we continue to strengthen our support for voluntary organisations across the UK.
Delyth Morgan brings extensive experience from her work as chief executive of Breast Cancer Now and as a member of the House of Lords.
She has fought for social justice throughout her career. Her leadership will guide our work as we support, connect, and champion voluntary organisations.
We’re delighted to welcome Ruth Marvel, chief executive of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, to our board as a trustee.
Ruth brings years of experience from across the voluntary sector. Her career has focused on empowering young people and creating inclusive, accessible opportunities through volunteering.
Her deep knowledge of the voluntary sector's challenges, and her commitment to social justice, will help NCVO support charities to thrive in a changing landscape.
We’re also thrilled to welcome Louise Posocco to our board as the new treasurer.
With over 20 years of expertise in charity finance, Louise has played a key role in helping organisations achieve financial sustainability.
Her deep understanding of financial planning and governance will be essential as NCVO continues to support voluntary organisations in staying strong and making an impact.
Louise's leadership will give charities the tools to meet challenges and support communities.
As we welcome our new president and trustees, we thank our outgoing ones: Dan Sutch, Red Godfrey-Sagoo, and Paul Breckell.
We greatly appreciate their support and contributions. They have been vital to our work and their dedication to NCVO and the voluntary sector has been invaluable.
We wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
We look forward to this next chapter for NCVO, as we continue working together to support, strengthen, and champion the voluntary sector across the UK
