How your charity can make the most of Small Charity Week

Small Charity Week (23–28 June) is a chance to celebrate small charities and get the support you need to keep going.

What to expect

This year’s campaign is all about financial resilience – helping you stay open, funded and connected during a time of rising costs and falling income.

We’re focused on action: providing tools, advice and opportunities to help your charity keep going and continue making a difference.

Share your story

  • Use campaign materials – including social posts, email graphics and more – to help you share your story.
  • Promote your events on the Small Charity Week website
  • Join the conversation on Instagram using #SmallCharityWeek and tag @smallcharityweek

Why this week matters

Many small charities are at risk of closure. That means people could lose access to the services they rely on and communities could be left without support.

  • Funding is drying up: public donations are falling, and key funders are changing direction
  • Costs are rising fast: inflation, wage pressures and the National Insurance hike are adding strain
  • Volunteering is in decline, leaving many charities short of the people they need.

Without action, small charities could disappear from the places that need them most.

How to take part

Whether you’re part of a small charity or want to show your support, here’s how you can get involved:

  • Download the campaign resources and share your story
  • Sign up for events and advice sessions
  • Use #SmallCharityWeek and tag @smallcharityweek
  • Donate through the match funding campaign to double your impact.
