Evaluation Consultant

Lucy is a consultant, facilitator and trainer. She specialises in evaluation.

Lucy joined our consultancy team in 2022. She has over 10 years of experience in research, evaluation and management in the voluntary, public and higher education sectors.

Lucy supports people and organisations to create social change and improve their work through effective evaluation. She's worked on projects ranging from local community events and social justice campaigns, to multi-million-pound initiatives affecting thousands of people.

Lucy joined NCVO from the University of Manchester. There she led evaluations of initiatives supporting underrepresented groups in higher education. Before that she worked as a researcher for Greater Manchester Combined Authority and the Directory of Social Change. She’s also managed small charities in the UK and Australia.

Lucy has an MSc Sociological Research from the University of Manchester and a BA Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Liverpool. She’s also an ILM qualified coach and mentor. She uses these skills to support charities to develop their evaluation and impact processes and practice.
