Laura specialises in learning and mentoring in volunteer engagement and management.

Laura has worked in the volunteering field for over 20 years with hands on experience of managing and leading volunteers and developing volunteering strategy. She has worked in a range of voluntary sector infrastructure and volunteer involving organisations.

Laura is experienced in the design and delivery of engaging and impactful training, workshop sessions and mentoring. As a freelance trainer she has worked with diverse organisations – from small community groups to national charities and Volunteer Centres.

Laura is a qualified relationship therapist, bringing systemic theory, relational and solution focused approaches and questioning to her work. She can help teams gain confidence in managing difficult conversations and working with conflict in relationships with volunteers.
