Jessica Romo Ramos

Yulye Jessica Romo Ramos’s work is known for using equitable, diverse, and inclusive approaches. She combines these with systems thinking and innovative methods to develop strategies and to evaluate and learn from social innovations, large investments, and development programmes.

Originally from Mexico, now Director & Principal Consultant of Nexus Evaluation Ltd - a consultancy company that maximises social and environmental results for our clients with the use of systemic, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive and equitable approaches. We provide thought leadership, training, design thinking, facilitation, and coaching, and produce high-quality knowledge and learning briefs that further impact and good practice across a wide range of thematic areas. Our field experience includes Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia.

I develop cutting-edge approaches and adapt methods to address unique needs and challenges. I advocate and work in ways that include diverse voices and groups, challenging power and gender dynamics that act as barriers of social impact for all, and I help change mindsets, behaviours and ways of working to bring about transformation and sustained change - finding the right pace of change and building consensus to move together.
