Ruth specialises in governance and board effectiveness reviews and trustee training, as well as strategy development and theories of change. She can help you with consultancy, facilitation and training.
Ruth has worked with NCVO since 2019, carrying out governance and board effectiveness reviews, and delivering trustee training. She also supports organisations with strategic planning – often using a theory of change to focus the strategy on desired outcomes and impact.
Ruth is an experienced facilitator, trainer and consultant. She supports a wide range of charities to be clear about what they want to achieve and how to make it happen effectively. She adapts her approach to the needs of the organisation, and can help you plan, prioritise and make decisions.
Ruth has worked in the voluntary sector for over 25 years. She was previously director for several national youth and education charities and has also been a trustee of national charities. She is currently Chair of The Menopause Charity, a small and fast-growing charity. Ruth also has an MSc in Voluntary Sector Management from Bayes Business School (City University London).
