Raphael is an expert governance consultant and trainer, with over a decade of experience in complex and dynamic board environments.

Raphael can help you up-skill your charity by building the expertise you need to become more responsive, dynamic and flexible in the ever-changing context of your organisation. With experience in a range of governance environments from supporting small community charities to chairing boards at senior level in massive public sector organisations, they have a veritable selection box of tools and techniques at their disposal.

Personable and authentic, Raphael is passionate about a people-focused approach that doesn’t sacrifice outcomes. They are also qualified in psychology, mediation and counselling theory, with experience in culture change and diversity and inclusion. They are confident working at all levels of an organisation, having mentored C-suite and director level leaders, and coached fledgling teams, focusing on their needs and the needs of the organisation with patience and good humour.

With hands-on experience in 'bespoking' governance to suit the needs of the moment, they are well-versed in supporting organisations to achieve clarity with their roles, responsibilities, accountabilities, information flows, and escalation routes to give peace of mind to everyone involved. Raphael is a Chartered Project Professional (ChPP), graduate of the Project Leadership Programme, and assessor for the Association for Project Management.
