Equity, diversity and inclusion at board level

This page is free to all

All trustees are responsible for shaping the culture of their board and charity.

This requires understanding how your board and organisation currently operate. In particular, its process, systems, policies and behaviours.

Learning more about equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) will help your board become more effective. It will also positively impact those the organisation serves. Trustees should commit to EDI learning and development and apply it to their roles.
