Small Charity Week 2020

Small Charity Week is an annual event, run by the Foundation for Social Improvement.  Small Charity Week is focused on celebrating and raising awareness of the essential work of small charities and the contribution they make to the lives of millions of individuals, communities and causes across the UK and around the world. This year’s Small Charity Week runs from 15 - 20 June 2020.

Covid-19 means that this year Small Charities week will be celebrated virtually.  You can find out about the events that are taking place on the Small Charity Week website.

NCVO champions small charities and 93% of our members have an annual income of under £1m. Around 113 small charities with annual incomes of less than £1m join us every month.

NCVO is a partner of the Foundation for Social Improvement (FSI).  All year round, The FSI and NCVO work together to raise awareness of each other’s advice, services and training to give the best support to small charities. As part of this, NCVO extends its free membership threshold for FSI members to those who have an annual income of up to £50,000.  If your charity is a member of the FSI and you’re interested in NCVO membership, you can This email address is being protected from spambots. This year, to recognise the great work that small charities do, NCVO will be:

  • Providing small charity NCVO members with an opportunity to discuss how they can plan for the future in light of Covid-19
  • Sharing a collection of guidance and tools that we think are particularly useful to small charities at this time. These resources are available to all.
