Our information and guidance lives over on NCVO Knowhow Nonprofit, where you'll find guidance on topics from how to start a charity, to funding, managing people and volunteers, and governance.

Learn from the Knowhow community, through step-by-step how-to guides and case studies, and contribute yourself.

You'll also find template documents, toolkits and policies (free for NCVO members) on Knowhow, on topics including governance and HR.

The UK Civil Society Almanac provides a comprehensive overview and valuable insights into the structure and economy of the UK voluntary sector. 

Funding Central provides access to contracts, grants and loan finance opportunities all in one place. Access is free to organisations with income under £100,000.

NCVO members can access more free resources, including political updates, in the members' area.

Training and events

We provide a wide range of training and events. NCVO members receive a 30% discount on all our training.

Online training is available at Studyzone. It's free for NCVO members, or subscriptions start from £9.99 per month.

You can also hire out our Conference Suite for your own events with 20% off for members.
