PQASSO in Wales

NCVO is partnering with Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) in a five-year project to establish a framework of good governance and quality improvement in Wales. The project is supported by the Big Lottery Fund.

PQASSO for Wales – strengthening quality in the third sector in Wales

NCVO is leading an exciting five-year project in Wales, working in partnership with Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) and funded by the Big Lottery Fund. PQASSO for Wales aims to develop a strong third sector by increasing knowledge and understanding of good governance, improving quality and creating a culture where there is an expectation of quality.

Whether your organisation is a charity, a community group, a social enterprise or a community interest company, from 2015 by participating in PQASSO for Wales you can access the following for free if you register before the end of 2016:

  • The PQASSO standard as a new online tool and in Welsh for the first time
  • Training and networking opportunities
  • Support from a PQASSO mentor.

Your organisation may be eligible to apply for a bursary to cover the costs of external assessment for the PQASSO Quality Mark.

PQASSO i Gymru – cryfhau ansawdd yn y trydydd sector yng Nghymru

Mae NCVO yn arwain prosiect cyffrous dros bum mlynedd yng Nghymru, gan weithio mewn partneriaeth gyda Chyngor Gweithredu Gwirfoddol Cymru (WCVA) a’i ariannu gan y Gronfa Loteri Fawr. Nod PQASSO i Gymru yw datblygu trydydd sector cryf drwy gynyddu gwybodaeth a dealltwriaeth o lywodraethu da, gwella ansawdd a chreu diwylliant lle disgwylir ansawdd.

Os yw’ch mudiad yn elusen, yn grŵp cymunedol, yn fenter gymdeithasol neu’n gwmni buddiannau cymunedol, o 2015 drwy gymryd rhan yn PQASSO i Gymru gallwch gael mynediad am ddim at y canlynol os ydych yn cofrestru cyn diwedd 2016:

• safon PQASSO fel adnodd arlein newydd ac yn Gymraeg am y tro cyntaf
• cyfleoedd hyfforddi a rhwydweithio
• cymorth gan un o fentoriaid PQASSO

Gallai’ch mudiad fod yn gymwys i wneud cais am fwrsariaeth ar gyfer costau’r asesiad allanol i ennill Nod Ansawdd PQASSO.

We have been recruiting PQASSO mentors who are trained and licensed by NCVO to deliver training and support to help organisations implement PQASSO. This recruitment programme has now closed. 
We will start to recruit PQASSO assessors in the autumn. Assessors are trained and supported by NCVO to assess organisations against the PQASSO standard for the PQASSO Quality Mark external accreditation.
