Coronavirus: Advice for your organisation

Volunteering and coronavirus: How you can help

Volunteers’ Week

Volunteers’ Week takes place 1-7 June every year. It's a chance to thank volunteers for the fantastic contribution they make to our communities.

Volunteers’ Week is supported and celebrated across the voluntary sector. This includes small grassroots organizations and larger, household-name charities.

Together they run hundreds of activities across the UK. These activities celebrate volunteers and the contribution volunteering makes in our communities.

Volunteers’ Week is a UK-wide celebration. The week is supported by organisations across the UK and led in partnership by:

  • National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO)
  • Volunteer Scotland
  • Volunteer Now (Northern Ireland)
  • Wales Council for Voluntary Action
