NCVO has over 14,000 members, ranging from small community groups to large household charity names. Our growing Membership and Enterprise team is looking for a highly organised individual with experience of delivering excellent customer service and an interest in the voluntary sector. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and learn new skills and become part of a busy and vibrant team that services a diverse and exciting community of charitable organisations.

You will be integral to the smooth running of NCVO’s growing membership programme, building strong relationships with colleagues and members across sectors and ensuring the timely payment of membership subscription fees.

With an understanding of basic financial processing and excellent attention to detail, you will ensure that our existing members and prospective members receive a seamless service when joining and renewing their memberships.

Bringing your customer service skills and data management experience to the role, you will support the Membership Manager in producing yearly forecasts, monitoring outstanding invoices levels and running monthly reports, in order to identify trends to improve NCVO’s membership scheme.

We are a fast-moving and high-performing team; the life of a consultant is busy. You are highly organised, managing multiple projects simultaneously. We know that a work-life balance is important – our work isn’t always a strict 9-5 and many in our team work flexibly to accommodate commuting, families and other commitments and interests.

The voluntary sector is rapidly changing and our team is on the frontline helping voluntary organisations respond. Our work is deeply rewarding as we see our clients become more effective in their work with individuals and communities across England.

NCVO is fully committed to equality, diversity and inclusion in our sector. We want this to be reflected in the diversity of the people who work for us, and we welcome applications from people from all backgrounds.

This post was previously advertised in April. Previous applicants need not apply.
