Charities, businesses and the public sector play a crucial role in civil society. With an increased drive to release the potential of closer partnerships, NCVO is looking for a highly motivated individual with a successful track record of working, collaborating and negotiating with businesses for the benefit of voluntary community organisations.

The successful applicant will work closely with the director of enterprise and development and head of membership and enterprise to develop and implement a strategy for long term sustainable business relations, including NCVO’s trusted suppliers and corporate membership scheme.

You’ll be a comfortable networker with a keen business eye, and an appetite to identify, develop and implement opportunities for the benefit of NCVO’s members and the wider sector.

You will account manage NCVO’s trusted suppliers undertaking regular reviews, reporting on success, relevance and usage and make recommendations based on your findings. You’ll be well versed at monitoring market forces and trends to identify commercial opportunities for the benefit of the sector and NCVO.

With over 100 corporate members, you will use your cross-sector knowledge and understanding to identify opportunities to strengthen their relationship with NCVO and bring value to their membership highlighting NCVO’s market strength and positioning.

Managing relationships and negotiating successful outcomes underpins the success of this role. You’ll have a proven track record of excellent business development techniques and results, alongside your experience of building successful partnerships and relationships at all levels.
