Job Specific information

Our Central Services team runs a very busy conference suite, and is looking for two highly organised administrators with excellent communication and customer service skills.

This post is a very important point of contact for NCVO’s conference suite and has responsibility for communicating with a wide and varied clientele.

In these busy roles, you will respond to enquiries, ensure customer details/requirements are accurately updated on the conference suite booking system, NCVO’s CRM and other systems as required in a timely fashion.

This is a hands-on role where you will meet and show prospective clients around the conference suite, advising customers on the best use of our facilities to meet their requirements. There is a physical element to this role as you may be required to assist with on the day room change requests from clients.

You use your own initiative, prioritising your workload and meeting tight and conflicting deadlines, in a busy, often pressurised environment.

Due to the requirements of the conference suite, we are looking for two part-time posts, each covering periods when we are busiest. These posts are office-based.
