Are you a highly organised with a solid track record of providing excellent administration? If yes, we’d like to work with you.

You are self-motivated and will be responsible for providing support on a range of administrative tasks for our director of planning and resources. Experienced in writing minutes, you will service various meetings including our trustee board and committees. You are used to planning and organising your own workload and your coordination skills will support our quarterly monitoring and reporting cycle.

You use your initiative and work well on your own as well as within a team. Prioritising and managing your responsibilities, you are experienced in delivering within a fast-paced and deadline driven environment. You are numerate and confident in monitoring budgets and have excellent attention to detail.

The director of planning and resources, as well leading a large department, supports NCVO’s governance structure as company secretary. You do not need direct experience of being a company secretary but rather will have a general understanding of the role of company secretary in order to assist her.

This is an integral role and you will work across the organisation, including with the executive assistant to the CEO and another PA to the other directors. You will use your excellent communication and diplomacy skills to establish relationships with important external stakeholders as well as to build collaborative relationships with colleagues across the organisation.
