Volunteering strategy learning group

  • Do you want to develop a volunteering strategy for your organisation?
  • Are you looking to work with and learn from others?
  • Can you commit to one group meeting every six weeks, over a nine-month period from January 2019?

NCVO is seeking 10 volunteer managers to take the lead on vision and strategy for volunteering in their organisation. To mark NCVO’s centenary year, we’re piloting a new learning group to help volunteering leaders to develop their volunteering strategy. We’re looking for leaders that speak out, show up and shape change, to try this out.

What you will get

Drawing on the latest data, trends, policy analysis and insights into volunteering, we will offer you:

  • six structured and facilitated group sessions: 24 hours of focused learning
  • visiting guest speakers on; leadership, power, communication, data, policy, influencing and social action
  • group webinars to strengthen your learning and support the development of your own strategies: three hours.

  • why you are interested in applying
  • what your personal development goals are
