Lai-Har leads on all things HR and people development. CIPD qualified. She works to ensure that NCVO has a diverse and high performing team of staff, through:

  • creating the right roles, recruiting a diverse staff, and attracting and retaining staff with the right knowledge, skills and experience
  • strategic HR projects
  • managing change
  • engaging an inclusive workforce, valuing difference, and modelling good leadership behaviours
  • learning and development of staff
  • staff well-being
  • employee engagement.

Vasundhara Sairaman, Human resources officer

Vasundhara manages the day to day HR process which include:

  • managing payroll, pensions, staff entitlements and benefits
  • managing the HR database and implement HR systems
  • providing first-level advice to managers on full range of HR issues
  • producing and analysing data, draft reports etc to inform HR strategy
  • leading the recruitment process, including issuing contracts and conducting inductions
  • managing the administration of end-to-end life cycle of all staff.
