Senior Consultant, Evaluation

Salary: £41,426 per annum, rising to £43,559 after 12 months in London (or £37,771 per annum rising to £39,950 after 12 months outside of London)
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Society Building, 8 All Saints Street, London N1, with flexibility to regularly work from home/home-based, with occasional travel to the office in line with NCVO’s flexible working policy or home working policy if outside London.

The postholder will:

  • work within the Support and services team providing high-quality training, capacity-building and consultancy
  • develop tender proposals for consultancy opportunities, which are often competitive
  • deliver consultancy projects for external clients including external evaluations, capacity building around self-evaluation
  • deliver training and supporting organisations’ strategy development
  • contribute to income generation targets for the team and manage budgets for individual consultancy projects and own chargeable vs non-chargeable days
  • manage project teams made up of staff from within the team or associates and ensures high quality work
  • contribute to the running of the consultancy team, for example through assisting with team communications, developing online resources or managing evaluation enquiries
  • contribute to the running and development of high-quality training in-house and bespoke.
