Frankie Smith

Frankie is a chartered accountant who has volunteered with several organisations in the voluntary and broader charity sector.

Frankie completed his training contract with KPMG and managed a wide-ranging audit portfolio focused on UK-based charities across the international development, heritage site and youth services sector. Having also worked at The Zoological Society of London (ZSL), Frankie is now the Chief Finance and Operations Officer at Bookmark, a literary charity working with volunteers to aid primary school children in their reading confidence.

Frankie is a Trustee at Rewilding Britain, an organisation that aims to promote and educate the public on the benefits of ecological restoration in Britain. He is the Chair of The Scouts Grant Committee at The Scout Association. He leads the governance of their internal grant function, supporting the broader organisation's strategic objectives through funding the local Scout Movement.

He was formerly the Deputy UK Youth Commissioner at The Scouts, where he supported young line managers and was a Trustee and Risk Committee Chair at The British Youth Council. Frankie chairs a small charity, Timu Rafiki, which supports Scouting in Kenya.
