B3: Volunteering and diversity: How to get different people volunteering

*This session is now fully booked*

NCVO icons volunteering

Approximately 66 million people live in the UK, yet according to government data, 36% of people from the least deprived areas of England volunteer formally, compared with only 15% from the most deprived. If we are to grow volunteering, we need to pay greater attention to diversity in every sense.

Our speakers will challenge you to rethink your understanding of diversity, show you what they have done to draw on diversity in its broadest forms and what benefits this has brought for communities, organisations and volunteers.

Chair
