Prize draw terms and conditions (campaigning organisations)

The following terms and conditions apply:

  1. The prize draw is only open to voluntary sector organisations that aren’t currently members of NCVO. Organisations that are existing members of NCVO from 22 November 2013 or currently in renewal are not eligible to enter.
  2. Voluntary sector organisations must meet the NCVO eligibility criteria. Any organisation entering that does not meet this eligibility criteria will not also be eligible to win.
  3. Only those who provide a named contact at the organisation entering with telephone contact details or email address will be eligible.
  4. Entry is restricted to one entry per organisation.
  5. All entries to be received by the closing date: 31 December 2013.
  6. Late applications will not be entered into the prize draw. No responsibility is accepted for applications not being received on time by post, by phone or through the online form.
  7. The winning organisation will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The judges' decision is final. No correspondence shall be entered into.
  8. The winning organisation will receive a free place on NCVO’s Certificate in Campaigning. This place must be redeemed at least 1 month before the chosen course start date.
  9. The main point of contact at the winning organisation will be notified by phone or email within one month of the closing date of the prize draw and will be informed of how to collect their prize. It is the responsibility of entrants to notify the promoter of any change of contact details. Proof of identity may be required.
  10. The complete list of winning organisations can be obtained on request.
  11. The prize should be claimed by the relevant winning organisation within three months of notification. If the potential winning organisation cannot be contacted, such potential winning organisation forfeits all rights to any Prize and an alternate winning organisation may be selected.
  12. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
  13. The payment of all costs and expenses involved in claiming a prize are the responsibility of the winning organisation(s).
  14. Events may occur that render a prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the prize draw organiser. In such events, the organiser reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify the prize draw at any time without notice.
  15. Participating means acceptance of the terms and conditions. Entries which are not in accordance with the terms and conditions will be disqualified.
