Reviewing and improving governance using PQASSO
This free two-hour workshop will show how PQASSO is a great quality management tool to help you improve governance in your organisation. It’s primarily aimed at trustees but will also be useful for chief executives who know that governance needs to be reviewed or believes that the board could be supported to become more effective.
|Date||Tuesday 4th April|
|Time||14.00 - 16.00|
|Location||Leeds Church Institute , Leeds|
In the current voluntary sector climate, it is important to be able to show evidence that you provide quality services and manage your organisation efficiently and effectively. Furthermore, there is increased demand from commissioners and funders for organisations to demonstrate the outcomes of their work. Achieving accreditation against a recognised quality standard allows you to do this.
The workshop will help you to explore how PQASSO can benefit your organisation and gives a comprehensive overview of the PQASSO Quality Mark and the assessment process. It will help organisations who are thinking about applying for the PQASSO Quality Mark to understand the process and what will be required, including the support material that is available.
By the end of the session, participants will:
- know the benefits of implementing PQASSO as your quality standard
- have a clear understanding of how to prepare and apply for a PQASSO Quality Mark peer review
- understand the PQASSO Quality Mark assessment process
- be familiar with the support material.
Who is it for?
This workshop is for anyone who is new to PQASSO or is familiar with the quality standard and thinking about applying. It is primarily aimed at trustees, chief executives and those involved in governance.
