NCVO’s Governance Forum meets twice a year with the purpose of providing peer support, learning and the sharing of good practice for individuals from organisations across civil society about good governance. Due to covid-19 and social distancing rules the next forum will be hosted virtually via Zoom.
March 2021 meeting
The Governance Forum is a great opportunity for governance professionals working in charities to network and test ideas.
During this session we will:
- explore the updates to the Charity Governance Code published in December 2020 – Dan Francis (NCVO)
- examine, and share experience on how boards can effectively assess and manage power imbalances – Alex Cole-Hamilton (Ethics consultant)
- receive a presentation on Where power lies, a report exploring the importance and value of lived experience on boards – Lucy Caldicott (Change Out and Winifred Tumim prize winner).
Please register using the form below.
Cost
Delegates will be charged £25 for attendance at the Governance Forum. This is a reduced fee to reflect the virtual delivery of the event.
We work hard to keep the cost of this event as low as possible aiming to only cover our costs.
