Fundraising Regulator web

The Fundraising Regulator is the independent voluntary regulator of charitable fundraising in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Having launched in July 2016, we maintain and uphold the standards set out in the Code of Fundraising Practice and its associated Rulebooks for Face-to-Face Fundraising. We are also responsible for the operation of the Fundraising Preference Service, giving the public more control over the communication they receive from charities.

We constantly aim to work with charities and representative bodies to improve public trust and confidence in the sector by producing guidance, improving fundraising standards and handling public complaints effectively.

Good Exchange logo RGB Green

The Good Exchange’s online platform automatically brings together and matches organisations or individuals with money to give with the causes that need it most. Charities and Community Groups can apply for funds via The Good Exchange’s single, on-line application process, cutting the time wasted making grant applications and increasing the chance of success. Grant-makers and donors can see which charities and community groups are looking for money and work collaboratively to deliver a measurable impact on social problems and build community engagement. Match funding motivates the public to fundraise for their favourite good causes.
