How snow sports are teaching young people life skills and getting them into work

You wouldn’t normally associate skiing and inner-city deprivation. Or using snowsports as a tool for social change. Think again! Charity Snow-Camp uses snowsports to inspire deprived inner-city youngsters, teaching them life skills and helping them gain qualifications.

Snow-Camp run programmes for young people aged 13-21 in London, Scotland, Bristol, Cardiff, the North West and the Midlands. They work directly with youth projects and youth service providers to reach those most in need to try and turn them away from negative behaviour. They run a range of programmes taking participants through a series of levels.
