The life-changing help for victims of domestic abuse

Trafford Domestic Abuse Services offers a comprehensive service to victims of domestic abuse and their families in Trafford, Greater Manchester. They provide refuge accommodation, a variety of support services and also undertake healthy relationships work within schools.
The abuse they deal with can take may forms including physical, emotional, sexual, financial and psychological.

Overall each year they assist more than 1000 people. Many beneficiaries say the help has been life-changing.
They were recently contacted via social media by an ex-service user who has since moved on well in her life and is free from her abusive ex-partner. “It’s been two years since I left the refuge and I want to say a huge thank you. You helped me regain mental and physical strength and I’m now in the most incredible place. Thank you so much for the work you do, you give people their lives back and give safety and security. I will forever be thankful.”
