Shehnaaz Latif, CES Senior Evaluation Consultant and Trainer

Shenaaz is an accomplished trainer in monitoring and evaluation, and helps organisations develop their self-evaluation systems. She is responsible for managing the design and delivery of CES’ monitoring and evaluation training and overseeing the quality of delivery by trainers in the team. Shehnaaz has designed and delivered all levels of training for voluntary sector organisations of all sizes and types, and has trained funding officers for a range of trusts, foundations and large funders.

Alistair was a founding CEO of the UNIAID Foundation (the students’ charity) developing a thriving organisation with 3.5m online users and funding from the likes of HSBC, Cabinet Office, HEFCE, AimHigher, Sutton Trust. Alistair’s recent clients include NHS England, Capita Learning and Development, VSO, UCL, Refugee Resource, Oxfam, and University of Oxford. Anne Moynihan, NCVO Associate

With 20 years’ experience working in the sector, Anne was head of our governance and leadership team until 2011. Prior to this, she worked extensively within Citizens Advice. Anne is a Fellow of the RSA, a member of the Charity Law Association and a governance course leader for Civil Society Media’s national trustee training programme. She was a member of the steering group for Good Governance: a Code for the Voluntary and Community Sector and a board member of Trustees Unlimited. Anne was co-author of a publication for trustees of Trust Schools and co-author of ‘Sustainable Funding: a guide for Trustees’.

Sue Pearlman, NCVO Associate

Sue is a skilled facilitator, trainer, supervisor and mentor. Her experience has been gained mainly through her involvement with the Citizens Advice Bureau service where she started as a volunteer and became district manager for a group of CABs. She continues to be a trustee and is chair of Community Action Hertsmere as well as honorary secretary at The Movement for Reform Judaism. Sue and a colleague set up TP Consultants in 2004 and their work has included all aspects of governance such as facilitating communication between trustees and senior managers, running workshops, legal structures, board reviews and much more. She also mentors senior staff and trustees.

Srabani's particular expertise is at board level on issues of leadership, strategy and campaigning. She has a decade’s experience as a successful CEO and over 20 years as an effective board member in the not for profit sector. Srabani’s CEO roles include the British Association of Adoption and Fostering, Contact a Family and Alcohol Concern. Srabani's most recent trustee role was with ACEVO.

Carla Ross, Impact Manager, BWB

Carla Ross is a senior researcher in the impact and advisory team at BWB. The team helps clients to increase the impact of their work with beneficiaries in four ways: working with clients to co-produce social impact reports and other social research, outcomes based planning, and designing and developing social investment propositions including social impact bonds, as well as more traditional advisory work such as mergers, acquisitions and due diligence.
